New book showcases some of the world's best drummers
Pictures of some of the best drummers in the world have been collected together for a new book.
Entitled A Drummer's Perspective, the collection of photographs contained within the album have been snapped by David Phillips, owner of A & R Marketing, reports the Northampton Chronicle and Echo.
Over the course of his careers, he has come into contact with the men behind the drum kit in bands such as Judas Priest, Nirvana, Iron Maiden and Depeche Mode.
Now he has put together some of the images he took down the years and Mr Phillips said he wanted to give music lovers a view of what it is like to be on stage on front of thousands of fans.
"What I have tried to do is give Joe Public the view that they don't normally see because they don't get access to do that," he said.
Another recently-released book on a similar topic is Jimmy Page's "photographic autobiography".
The Led Zeppelin star went through thousands of prints to come up with a final collection of more than 650 photographs documenting his life in music as part of one of the world's most-famous groups.
