New London dates for Roger Waters
Pink Floyd fans now have two more chances to see electric guitar player Roger Waters performing live in London next year.
The musician has added the gigs to his 2011 schedule, according to NME.
He had originally been set to perform for three nights at the O2 Arena in the capital, but Waters will now play five concerts as part of his The Wall tour, with new dates set for May 14th and 15th.
Irish and Mancunian fans will be able to watch him play his electric guitar at the Dublin O2 Arena on May 23rd and at the Manchester Evening News Arena on May 20th and 21st.
Tickets for the originally-announced shows went on sale on June 5th.
Waters is currently holding the Fallen Loved Ones project in which he asks people to pass on photographs and information about friends and relatives they have lost in war, whether soldier or civilian.
It is part of his campaign for peace.Posted on 8 Jun 2010 16:15 to category : Band / Celebrity News
