New KRK Studio Subwoofer Series
KRK monitors are the professional’s choice for mixing and mastering for over 25 years. And the new S-series 8”, 10”, and 12” subwoofers that extend KRKʼs legendary accuracy to the limits of human hearing - making them ideal for mixing in 2.1 or 5.1 surround sound. The curved enclosure design, on each of the new subs, has a front-firing bass port which allows for flexible positioning within your existing setup.
The 8s2 is most compact of the three subs, and features a custom-voiced 8'' glass aramid woofer which combines with the Class-D amplifier to deliver tight, defined bass and improved transient responses.
The 10s conversely, builds upon KRK’s legacy for sonic accuracy and performance. The custom-voiced, glass-aramid woofer delivers tight, defined bass, while the Class-D powered Amplifier dramatically increases transient response, control and punch, allowing you to properly engineer the low-frequency portion of the mix.
The largest of the three the 12s2 boasts a custom-made Kevlar woofer to deliver ultra-tight, defined bass - a material which was also used to build the body of classic British-made TVR cars. This sub can handle bass extension of up to 26Hz with a maximum SPL of 119dB.
