New Echolution Pedals Announced at Summer NAMM '15
The pedals come in two different editions – the Echolution 2 Ultra Pro and Echolution 2 Filter Pro and are due to land in August 2015.
Both offer independent pitch shifting with two synchronized delays that can be applied in a number of creative ways, allowing for overlapping and unique rhythmic patterns. Interesting sonic textures can also go well beyond shimmer and crystals patches on previous incarnations of the pedal with sweeping filters and umpteen modulation options allowing more than one sound at a time.
Both have tap tempo and can be MIDI controlled, if required.
The main difference between the Ultra Pro and the Filter Pro, is the Ultra Pro has a greater level of detail and depth of editing and delay options.
The E2 Ultra Pro is Pigtronix’ new flagship delay and replaces the Deluxe, the previous version of the pedal. There are 30 individual algorithms that can even be mapped in real-time MIDI or via PC / MAC app control for vast custom delay options.
The Filter Pro is designed more for artists who want a solid delay pedal that can be tweaked on the fly. It replaces its predecessor, the E2 Basic, and features a multi-tap, eight different filter options and pitch-shifted sound effects.
Many of these new sounds and features were requested by users of the Pigronix Echolution 2.
