New Blackheart Amps praised in recent review
Posted on 12 Nov 2009 10:12 to category : Music News

The Blackheart amplifier brand is becoming more and more popular within guitar playing circles.
In a recent review, Playmusic Pickup Magazine has taken Blackheart's Handsome Devil amplifier for a test drive.
The Handsome Devil amplifier from Blackheart is available as both a combo the BH15-112 or as a separate amp head BH15H and cabinet BH112.
The BH15H Handsome Devil 15 watt amp head covers classic rock tones, and can be driven at different levels with a pentode to triode switch.
When running at half power (triode mode), Playmusic Pickup's reviewer noted that the Handsome Devil "sounds very smooth and meaty, with a dense harmonically complex tonality."
By "switching to full power, the amp instantly transforms into a far more aggressive-sounding beast."
The makers of Blackheart amps really have catered for a wide variety of guitarists throughout their amp range, with amps suited for both practicing in the bedroom and playing live rock shows.
Looking at the Handsome Devil, Playmusic Pickup's reviewer commented: "Regardless of whether you are into classic rock, blues, country even metal the Blackheart Handsome Devil provides a great bedrock for putting some seriously good tones together."
Strong build quality, a vast array of tones and a very competitive price make the Handsome Devil "a very cool little amp indeed" that "packs a very powerful punch."
