Nektar Technologies announce Logic Pro software integration with their Panorama Series controllers. The move see’s Nektar’s Panorama series controllers – the P1, P4 and P6 - fully map to Logic Pro, a popular digital audio workstation (DAW) made by Apple Inc.

Here the integration permits the user to have control over the software’s in-built plugins, third party AU plugins and comprehensive control over the software itself – without the need to use a mouse during operation.

The Panorama series integration with Logic Pro also boasts; monitoring current song position pointer, ability to move the left and right locator positions individually, set drop in and drop out points individually and quantize.

There are three modes within Panorama for control including Mixer, Instrument or Transport to get the most out of the DAW. The track buttons on the Panorama series controller also display track names and types for smooth workflow operation.

If your Panorama has a motorized fader, like the P6, then you will always have the mixer volume of your selected track within reach along with solo and mute buttons as standard. P4 and P6 users have the advantage of selecting the first 8 Logic markers using pads 1-8 on the controller.

Furthermore, with a ReWire slave such as MainStage, Reason or Reaper, users can switch between any of the aforementioned software and Logic Pro in real time offering a vast variety of options during the recording / mixing process.
