Neil Young posts 37-minute music sequence
Posted on 1 Feb 2012 16:17 to category : Instruments News

At no point in the video does the viewer see Young jamming with his band Crazy Horse on a piece of music that is known as Horse Back.
Instead, the video takes people on a tour of a recording studio, from the mixing desk to tape recorders to wires and stands and even panning over lyrics and sheet music.
Recorded last month, the acoustic guitar player leads his band through a musical odyssey, showing that his skills have not diminished even though he is now over the age of retirement.
Young recently lamented the fact that the "quality of the sound" of digital music was terrible, something he doesn't understand.
"I'm finding that I have a little bit of trouble with the quality of the sound of music today," he told MTV.
"I don't like it. It just makes me angry. Not the quality of the music, but we're in the 21st century and we have the worst sound that we've ever had. It's worse than a 78 [rpm record]. Where are our geniuses? What happened?"
His last studio album was released in 2010 and was entitled Le Noise.
