Neil Young honoured by peers

Electric guitar player Neil Young was honoured by the great and good of the music world this weekend at a special event in Los Angeles.
The MusiCares charity fundraiser saw the likes of Elvis Costello, Elton John and Crosby, Stills and Nash perform covers of famous Young tracks.
Following his band's performance of Human Highway, which closed the show, David Crosby told BBC 6 Music that Young, who uses a Gibson Les Paulguitar, was the real deal.
"Too much of the music business these days is about surface rather than substance," he stated.
"Neil is substance. He really writes real songs that can really move your heart."
He added that he was proud to be friends with Young, who performed as part of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young before embarking on a successful solo career.
His hits from down the decades have included Rocking in the Free World and Hey Hey My My.
