Neil Young announces UK tour for 2013
He will be joined by his band Crazy Horse and kicks off at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena on June 10th before moving on to Birmingham's LG Arena (11th), Glasgow SECC (13th) and finishing with a huge show at London's O2 Arena on the 17th.
It marks the first time Young has graced the UK's shores since his performance at Glastonbury in 2009 and will also represent the first time that he has toured with the Crazy Horse line-up of Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina and Frank "Poncho" Sampedro since 2001 following the departure of Danny Whitten and Jack Nitzsche.
Young and Crazy Horse have released a whole host of records since their collaboration started in 1969 and launched two albums this year with Americana and Psychedelic Pill.
The legendary rocker released his last solo record in 2010 with Le Noise.
Tickets for the June shows go on sale on Friday (December 14th) at 9am.
