Nadine Coyle wants Cee-Lo song
Posted on 27 Sep 2010 07:00 to category : Music News

Nadine Coyle wants to write a song for, and duet with, Cee Lo Green.
The 'Red Light' singer said she loves the voice of soul singer Cee Lo - who is one half of 'Crazy' hitmakers Gnarls Barkley - and would love to star on a track with him, but would insist he toned things down from his most recent single 'F**k You', which was re-recorded as 'Forget You' for the radio.
Nadine exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Do you know who I love? Cee Lo Green, I'd love to sing with him on a song that I wrote.
"Although it'd would hopefully not feature as much profanity as his recent song. But he just has a voice that really captures me."
Nadine also said she didn't consciously make her track 'Insatiable' - her debut single - with 80s styling, although it has been said it bears resemblance to a song from that era.
She added: "I didn't pick the 80s at all. I was born in the 80s, so it's not a particular time that I even remember well!
"What I think its people are saying 80s because it's got the live instruments on it, live drum kit, live brass, live lead guitar, live pianos, all that stuff, so it's got that older feel.
"The 80s to me feels like a Cyndi Lauper and stuff like that. I didn't ever intend to go 80s."
Nadine's debut solo single 'Insatiable' is released on November 1, and her album of the same name will follow on November 8.
