NAMM 2017: JBL Launch 705P, 708P Studio Monitors
Perfect for any acoustic environment, both monitors are fitted with a 2409H high frequency compression driver allowing for an unrivaled frequency response. With an intuitive low-mass annular diaphragm the monitors are able offer a smooth response and low distortion over 36kHz. 725g low-frequency drivers deliver 114mm peak to peak-to-peak excursion with greater linearity and exceptionally low-frequency output; below 39 Hz for the 705P and 35kHz for the 708. WIth these drivers you can expect two to three times the output of other studio monitors currently available.
New for NAMM 2017, both monitors feature a 120w amp for the 2409H high- frequency transducer and a 250w amp dedicated to the 725G low-frequency transducer. Perfect for delivering audio superiority in any acoustic environment, the monitor comes fitted with on-board equalization to help you define and tailor your tone specifically to the room in which you are situated. Featuring 12 bands of Room EQ and eight bands of User EQ for customized response curves you are able to effectively compensate for any dip in quality when placed behind an external obstruction.
The JBL 705P includes analog and digital inputs as well as sample rate converters. The AES/EBU digital inputs give users the choice of connecting to a wide array of hardware, including digital audio workstations, mixing consoles and digital playback hardware with sample rates that range up to 192kHz. Digital signals with uncommon sample rates are also available to connect via the internal sample rate converters.
