NAMM 2016: Orange Amplifiers Reveal Limited Edition Shiny Terror
Dubbed the 'Shiny Terror', this particular Tiny Terror boasts a stunning mirror-effect, polished stainless steel chassis, which houses 2x ECC83/12AX7 and 2x EL84 valves and the finest components to deliver sheer tonal perfection through a British Racing Green 2x 10 cab with Celestion G10 alnico gold speakers.
The regular version has become an iconic amp over the last decade, which has seen guitarists move from monster-sized amplifier heads to the 'lunchbox style amps' that deliver great tone without the weight of heavy amplification.
"I like to keep things simple. The Tiny Terror is probably the amp I'm most proud of", confirmed the designer, Ade Emsley; "The construction of this 10th Anniversary edition is actually slightly different from my hard-wired prototypes. The first Tiny Terror I made was on a tag board, whereas the 10th Anniversary model is totally true point-to-point on a strip. It's much more fiddly and involved this way but you end up with something that looks as smart as it sounds."
