NAMM 2015: Ashdown B-Social Bass Amp, John Entwistle ABM Rig and Retroglide 800 Head
Ashdown launch a powerful 75w stereo desktop amp system, John Entwistle pre and power amps and Retroglide 800 bass head.

The B-Social bass amp and entertainment system is Ashdown's first desktop amp system designed for bass guitars.

A 75w stereo amp with Ashdown's signature bass tone, the B-Social allows you to connect to your smartphone and access the ever-growing range of amp sim and effects apps available via the Ashdown Apptek app.

B-Social also features Bluetooth connectivity for wireless jamming (there's a second input for another bass or guitar), or for playing music wirelessly from any compatible music player. The built-in USB interface is compatible with all major DAWs, for simple recording. Also available is the B-Social in white.

John Entwistle RPM-1 and APM-1000 rig

Ashdown are re-issuing the late John Entwistle's rig of choice, used on his last tour. Comprising of the RPM-1 pre amp and APM-1000 power amp, the rig has the same specs used on the originals he loved so much.

The RPM-1 rackmounting preamp is based on the ABM EVO II and features a powerful 7-band EQ, blendable solid state preamp and Sub Harmonic Generator as well as a balanced DI out and a line for connecting any external audio source.

The ABM-1000 is a 2 x 500w power amplifier, deisgned to ensure robust performance. It features quad-fan cooling technology and each channel has its own toroidal transformer.

Retroglide 800

The latest Ashdown custom-shop offering, the Retroglide 800 bass head takes things back to the 80s in style and features.

An 800 watt RMS funk powerhouse, the Retroglide 800 has hi and low impedance instrument inputs, a 12-band graphic EQ mute switch with LED indicator, output protect LED, effects loop and speaker output Nuetrik combi jack/speakon connector.
