NAMM 2014: sE Electronics X1 USB Mic and Re-Releases
The sE XR1 Ribbon mic has been reissued, remaining at the lower price point, making it more accessible to cash-strapped musicians. A hybrid of old a new ribbon technology, the X1R has the natural beauty of the ribbon sound but with more versatility and ease of use.
The sE X1 USB uses sE Electronic's most successful mic of all time, the sE X1, and replicates it in a convenient USB form for true plug-in-and-play performance. A USB Condenser, it's designed for use in the studio or on the road, featuring a cardioid polar pattern, bass cut and 10dB pad switches.
Designed for studio and live use, the sE5 Cardioid Condenser Mic is ideal for recording drums, percussion, pianos and any stringed acoustic instruments. Finished in a professional matte black, the sE5 is available as a pair as well as a single mic.
When the sE Magneto Studio Condenser mic was launched, it was available in Limited Edition in purple. Now, it's been given a matte black finish. A high-quality studio mic, it brings the rich sE heritage to musicians on a budget.
For use with Magneto, the new X1 Series mics and the 2200a Series, sE Electronic's new Isolation Pack is a custom shock mount and integrated pop filter. Built to last, the shockmount has been redesigned with a quick release mechanism for easy securing and removal.
