NAMM 2014: QSC TouchMix Compact Digital Mixers Unveiled
The QSC TouchMixs are designed to give users the power and capability of a large scale console in portable, easy to use machines.
The mixers offer a choice of Advanced Mode operation, for users who prefer to control every parameter, or Simple Mode which does a lot of the work for you and only provides essential controls.
Additional features include a four band, fully parametric EQ with both variable hi and lo-pass filters, along with dynamics processing on each input channel. The four mix busses feed four internal, professional, digital effects processors. The onboard Effects Wizard guides users through the process of selecting and assigning effects.
Comprehensive dynamics, graphic EQ, hi- pass, lo-pass and notch filters and delay are available on both the main and aux outputs, plus there are also eight DCA groups with mutes, as well as eight mute groups.
Equipped with four (TouchMix-8) or ten (TouchMix-16) auxiliary output channels, TouchMix also has ample stage monitor mixing capability with both models able to drive multiple wired stereo in-ear monitors directly.
The QSC Touch-Mixs are due to be available in mid 2014 but are online to view now at Gear4music.
