NAMM 2013: New Acoustic and MiBass Ranges Launched by Ashdown (updated with video!)
The all-new Ashdown Acoustic range sees the established amp manufacturer continue the unplugged revolution.
All of the new acoustic range from Ashdown was made in the UK, and the amps feature handmade dovetail joinery with a choice of natural gloss Wood or Black splatter finish.
Custom-made Italian Sica drivers and a high-end studio-quality tweeter provide a highly responsive mid-range with delicate highs and a tight low-end, making the new range sound as good as they look.
Another addition to the Acoustic range is Ashdown's Acoustic Preamp Pedal with balanced DI, notch filter, and high and low EQ rotary controls. Certainly a must for any gigging acoustic player.
For Bassists, Ashdown have launched the game-changing MiBass 2.0 , a compact but highly potent Bass Amp Head with a devastating 640 watt peak. The MiBass produces a warm, powerful and monstrous low end with the added benefits of a useful MP3 input and level control.
The Ashdown MiBass USB Interface is a great tool for technologically-minded Bass players, versatile enough to let you connect your Bass to your computer and be used as a simple headphone amp, too.
Ashdown will be exhibiting their latest products at the NAMM Show later this month.
