iRig MIX debuted by IK Multimedia
iRig Mix has been announced by IK Multimedia for NAMM 2012, as the first mobile mixer for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The iRig Mix offers the same control you expect to find in a pro DJ mixer, including crossfader, cues, EQ and volume. Allowing for two devices to be plugged in to independent channels, the iRig Mix provides traditional mixing features in a compact and portable package. The device can also be used singly with any iOS device, splitting the single in to dual mono. Auto tempo matching and beat syncing allow for mixing of any type of source, including MP3 and CD players. Not just for DJs the iRig Mix is ideal for small ensembles and solo artists too. An extra guitar / mic input also allows musicians to plug directly in to iOS apps. The iRig Mix is incredibly portable, and can be powered by any regular mobile device charger, USB port or iOS battery pack. The device includes with DJ Rig, Amplitube, VocaLive and Groovemaker apps.
