NAMM 2012: TC Helicon VoiceLive Play Announced
TC Helicon VoiceLive Play has been announced at NAMM 2012, promising to take singers to the next level. The compact effects unit for singers is packed with pro-level sounds tailored for vocalists with advanced harmony processing. The VoiceLive Play has over 200 presets for a wide range of genres, with many sounding straight off world famous recordings. The HIT button takes the effects 'over the top' adding another layer on top, making certain parts of the song stand out immediately. The Practice function analyses performance in real time, meaning vocalists can really pick out where they need to improve their performance. An input means music can be put through the live form the likes of iPods and computers, while a Vocal Cancel feature means performer's can add their own vocal to their favourite recordings. Loops can easily be made using the VoiceLive Play, and by adding the MP-75, the mic becomes a full looping remote control. Built in side microphones in the VoiceLive Play - add some live room ambience to the performance when using headphones, or use the mics to pick up sounds form other instruments in the room adding another aspect to harmony processing. The mics can also be used for direct recording to the computer via USB. With tone, harmony, HardTune, Reverb and more effects, the TC Helicon Play is an advanced processor for the most demanding vocalist.
