Fender Squier Jim Root Telecaster & Avril Lavigne Telecaster Signature Guitars Released at this years NAMM 2012. Designed with the formidable Slipknot/Stone Sour electric guitarist, the new Jim Root signature guitar features a stunning satin matte finish in either black or white. Looking and sounding as Jim Root would have it the guitar includes starkly simple single-knob/single switch control layout, black die-cast tuners and two crunching passive humbucking pickups. Features include a mahogany body, modern C-shaped maple neck with satin matte finish, 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and parchment dot inlays, three-way pickup switch with black tip, single-ply pickguard. Another addition to the Squire Signature series is the Avril Lavigne Telecaster electric guitar. Adding to the already popular signature Avril Lavigne Squire Telecaster, this new model has new features including a three-ply pickguard (black-white-black), knurled black flat-top volume control knob, black headstock with die-cast tuners. It also includes a distinctive 12th-fret skull-and-crossbones logo and is available in a black finish. It's single humbucking bridge pickup, three-way pickup coil switch with barrel tip gives it it's powerfull but versatile tone and also includes Squier-engraved neck plate, six-saddle string-through-body bridge and black hardware.
