Two New Unique Casio Syntheseizers
Casio announce two types of unique synthesisers with a wide array of sounds and initiative controls at NAMM 2012. With a slim body and weighing only 5.4 kilograms, both new Synthesizers are equipped with 9 sliders and 4 assignable knobs making them portable and easy to transport, and even easier to control. Casio XW-G1 Groove Synthesizer includes various functions ideal for DJ's in this all in one unit including step sequencer, phrase sequencer, sampler looper as well as keyboard performance with 61-keys. It also features external input sound allowing overdubbing and the ability to play the keyboard while using rhythm patterns as backing tracks and change effects in real time. Also released is the Casio XW-P1 Performance Synthesiser designed specifically for creating sound and playing expressively in live performance or in the studio. Featuring 620 preset tones including solo synthesiser presets that offer vintage analogue synth sound, Hex layer ensembles sounds and a drawbar organ preset that can be controlled using nine functioning drawbars gives the user a wide array of sounds and effects to play expressively.
