NAMM 2011 VIDEO: Fender Introduce the Tele-Bration 60th Anniversary Telecasters
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Telecaster Fender have released a number of limited edition Telebration instruments.
The Custom Shop's 60th anniversary Tele-Bration series commemorates the very earliest models of what would by early 1951 be called the Telecaster.
Each guitar comes with a Custom Shop Tele-Bration ring notebook containing yellow legal pad copies of George Fullerton's handwritten notes about the history of the Telecaster's very earliest days.
One of the guitars is constructed from the wood of an 1890s Northern California trestle railway bridge, whilst another is an Indiana pine barn over 100 years old.
Each instrument is designed to be unique, providing features not conventionally found on a Telecaster - for example several of the guitars contain elements of Bamboo!
