NAMM 2011: Samson Unveil New Auro Speakers and Subwoofer
Samson Technologies have announced three new additions to their Auro speaker range - the Auro D12 and D15 passive speakers and the Auro D1800 Subwoofer.
Designed to produce the key elements of power handling, portability and exceptional sound, Auro D12 and D15 2-Way Passive Loudspeakers are compact enclosures that combines superior components and meticulous engineering.
"These speakers are ideal for installation purposes, gigging musicians and general live sound reinforcement applications," says James Tsaptsinos, Samson's Vice President of Sales.
Both the D12 and D15 feature a convenient, lightweight design, producing big sound thanks to their respective 12-inch and 15-inch extended low frequency drivers and accompanying 1.34-inch compression driver.
Immersive, articulate bass and sweet, lucid highs create well-balanced and expressive audio suitable for any situation where pro-quality sound is a must.
The new Auro D1800 Subwoofer provides the pulsating lows that allow you to feel the bass.
With a Class D design, this subwoofer packs the heart-thumping power you need into a more efficient and lightweight enclosure ideal for fixed installations, musicians, DJs and general live sound reinforcement applications.
A fixed frequency electronic crossover allows you to use the Auro D1800's balanced XLR stereo input, as well as its balanced XLR stereo full range and high-pass outputs to run your satellite speakers or daisy chain with additional subwoofers.
Both the D12 and D15 passive speakers are an ideal pairing for the D1800 subwoofer, giving you a complete Auro PA system that is built to last.Posted on 13 Jan 2011 10:24 to category : Instruments News
