NAMM 2010: Roland debuts Octapad SPD-30 digital percussion pad

The original Octapad had a revolutionary affect on electronic percussion, offering percussionists an entire rig in a device no larger than a briefcase.
The new SPD-30 builds on the original model blending essential electronic percussion sounds with up to date triggering technology.
Even and accurate pad triggering set the SPD-30 apart from competitor products, based on the same technology as the V-Drum system.
The SPD-30 has a solid build ensuring that it is tough enough for the user who is always on the road.
New sounds include ethnic percussion, and there are now 30 multi-effects from Roland’s massive library.
An added Phrase Loop function further inspires creativity allowing you to record real time playing and over dub to make a whole piece.
