Mystery Jets bass guitar player announces details of new solo album

The bass guitar player from the band Mystery Jets has announced plans for the release of his debut solo studio album.

Kai Fish is a prolific musician, and in-between commitments to the Mystery Jets, has penned music for The Count and Sinden and the hit music-maker Mark Ronson.

Life In Monochrome is the title of his new album and will be released on September 28th through the Music For Wolves.

Fish has not left the English five-piece band, who have so far produced three albums to critical acclaim, but is branching out and exploring other creative opportunities as an artist.

Described as an introspective album, it is rumoured to be the creative output inspired by the outcomes of a transitional period in his personal life, which saw the musician's six-year relationship end.

It wasn't all heartbreak as love was around the corner and he is now happily married.

Cobalt Cheeks, a teaser track, is now available online to download. It will give fans a brief glimpse into what they can expect from Fish's solo work.
