Mystery Jets and The Futureheads set for Reading and Leeds 2010
Indie group Mystery Jets and electric guitar band The Futureheads will play the Reading and Leeds festivals this summer, it has been announced.
The two acts are among a host of new names who have been announced for the annual event, which is taking place between August 27th and 29th this year.
Among the other artists who will be appearing at this year's festival are New Young Pony Club, Wild Beasts and The Walkmen.
System of a Down star Serj Tankian will also be putting in a solo appearance over the weekend.
The majority of the line-up on the two largest stages was announced late last month, with Guns N' Roses, Arcade Fire and Blink 182 signed up as headliners.
One of the most hotly-anticipated performances will be from The Libertines, who have reformed after Carl Barat and Pete Doherty set aside their differences.
Earlier this month, the band played their first impromptu gig together since reforming as they interrupted a press conference to bring out their guitars and play a series of their old songs, reported NME.Posted on 13 Apr 2010 19:10 to category : Band / Celebrity News
