Mylene Klass praises the Casio Celviano digital piano.
Posted on 13 Sep 2010 11:37 to category : Instruments News

Mylene Klass knows a thing or two about pianos and keyboards, receiving her first keyboard at the age of six. Since then she has been through several pianos but "non have been quite as gorgeous as my Celviano AP-6PB digital piano".
"Contrary to my classical roots, im not your typical musical purist, which is why the Celviano has slipped so easily into my life", the new technologies on the digital piano allow her to practice and rehearse to recordings without disturbing anyone.
In gloss black the Celviano looks fabulous and from across the room it looks far too sleek to incorporate 250 tones, 180 rhythms, a 16-track multi-recorder and a slot for your memory card.
"Its not just fancy recording and electronic stuff that impress me, the most important thing about a good keyboard is the proper weighted keys", which gives a real sense of playing a real piano.
Other key notes about the digital piano is the fact it will never need to be tuned and it also comes with a true concert piano tone in which you can alter the pitch to suit the orchestra.
Four excellent speakers also make the keyboard resonate uncannily like a grand piano and the duet feature allows learners to play along with the digital piano.
Overall "The Casio isn't cheap but considering all it is capable of I think its good value. I can't really argue with a keyboard built for professional musicians that sounds great and offers beginners the chance to play and learn properly".
