Yamaha has announced the latest additions to their DTX series models, the DTX720K, DTX760K and DTX920K electronic drum kits.

Built on the legacy of the popular DTX 700 and 900 series families, each of these new electronic drum kits has the features that drummers demand, including larger DTX pads to deliver a more natural playing surface.

These kits also feature the new KP100 kick pad, exclusive 3-zone DTX pads, and a new DTX700 Touch app for iOS devices. The app is available as a free download providing easy, intuitive operation and a better overall playing experience for all levels of drummers.

The DTX720K and DTX760K simplify the user setup with a compact, easy-to-operate system that elevates the company’s already hugely successful series to a new level of performance enjoyment.

The DTX920K brings Yamaha flagship features and expressiveness in at an attractive price point for the most demanding applications including the live stage, recording studio, houses of worship, school or home use.

With the unique ability to import your own sounds, the new DTX kits from Yamaha respond to the needs of studio and live performance drummers, whether you're a student or a professional. These fantastic additions allow you to enjoy creative freedom while ensuring an authentic playing experience.

"It's as much about the feel of the kits as it is the features of the entire DTX Series system," "What we've done is to make the best quality electronic drums even more player-friendly for more drummers, and with more new features." - Steven Fisher, marketing manager, drums, Yamaha Corporation of America.
