Musikmesse 2016: Yamaha Arius YDP143 and YDP163 Pianos Unveiled
The YDP163 is designed with the developing student and more experienced pianist in mind. It features a graded hammer 3 keyboard with synthetic ivory key tops to help provide the feel of an acoustic grand piano.
The YDP143 conversely, is aimed at beginner and developing pianists alike.
Both the YDP163 and YDP143 have an increased 192 note polyphony and boast an improved pure CF sound engine - modelled on acoustic Yamaha pianos to add to this new piano's sonic qualities. And an improved reverb as well.
Each can also benefit from the Controller app for the iPad, iPhone and iPod, which allows for easy control of the piano's functions.
The Stereophonic Optimizer feature ensures excellent sound replication through headphones on both pianos, which unlike their previous incarnations, also have more colour options available.
