Musikmesse 2016: RME Release Fireface UFX , ADI-2 Pro, MADIface Pro and ARC USB
The Fireface UFX , with the potential to power up to 94 channels of I/O, is the first ever RME product to feature thunderbolt and USB 3 connectivity. This flagship interface also has improved analogue circuitry, MADI I/O - taking it to 188 channels of I/O (128 channels more than the Fireface UFX) and headphone outputs with 2ohm impedence.
The ADI-2 Pro is a high-end AD/DA converter designed to be used for mastering and measuring with RME's siganture 30 band EQ and a dial which helps give you classic HiFi control - meaning that you can quickly access the bass and treble and keep these equalization features constant even when the volume is lowered or increased.
RME has also taken their popular Babyface Pro interface to the next level. The new MADIface Pro retains the beautifully designed housing with its integrated XLR I/O, and has replaced the 8-channel ADAT I/O with a MADI port. The result is 64 channels of pristine audio on a single cable on an interface that will fit in your laptop bag with your computer.
Because of its physical design and versatile I/O, the MADIface Pro is the perfect mobile solution where quality audio is critical. As well as remote, live, broadcast and industrial applications, the MADIface Pro is also the complete solution for the studio.
Finally, the ARC USB is a MIDI remote control for the Fireface UFX compatible with Windows and Mac OS X, which connects to your computer via USB, and talks to TotalMix FX directly. It has 15 freely assignable and illuminated buttons, one encoder wheel, and a TS jack to connect a foot switch.
