Musikmesse 2011: Novation announces Twitch Serato DJ Controller

Developed in collaboration with Serato, Novation has unveiled the Twitch DJ Controller and Audio Interface.
Twitch is a portable, USB-powered, plug and play controller and audio interface to be used in combination with Serato ITCH software.
Twitch also functions as a standard MIDI controller that can be mapped to other software such as Ableton Live.
With an emphasis on performance, the Novation Twitch features 2 banks of 8 trigger pads, channel effects, pro cross-fader and ribbon-style LED-lit touchstrips.
Twitch also offers four performance modes; Hot Cue, Slicer, Auto Loop and Loop Roll for seamless on-the-fly remixing and re-sampling within ITCH.
Each performance mode covers everything from step-sequencing to glitching techniques and all in between.
Effects can be assigned per-channel making for creative live performances and endless improvisation.
With its sturdy, road-worthy build, Twitch also doubles as a high-quality USB audio interface, featuring a Mic/Aux channel, stereo RCA inputs and master outs.
What?s more, Twitch is Traktor-ready offering immediate mapping using the free Traktor overlay provided in the box.
