Posted on 4 Apr 2011 10:12 to category : Instruments News

Pioneering electric guitar manufacturer Ibanez are releasing a limited edition 2011 RG Extreme Shredding Machine the RG2011SC-BK.
Ibanez have always been at the cutting edge of guitar design and industry pioneers of 7 & 8 string guitar models.
Instead of focusing on the on the lower notes for the RG2011SC-BK Ibanez have added higher notes with an extended 30 fret fingerboard creating an extreme shredding machine.
A rosewood fingerboard contains 30 jumo frets at the standard long scale length 25.5" and an eye catching extra-deep cutaway allows effortless access to the higher frets.
Other key features include 5 screws All-Access Neck Joint with a smoother heel scoop for your thumb, which allows the maple neck to be firmly and seamlessly bolted to the resonant Alder body.
Equipped with the famous Ibanez Edge-Zero tremolo with the Zero Point System, a recessed output jack and white DiMarzio pickups gives the guitar all the bite and tone needed to cut through any mix.
Furthermore the RG2011SC-BK retains the popular 5-way split switch, and developed a Neck Pickup Simulator Circuit powered by a 9v battery, specially designed for this extremely limited edition RG.
This Ibanez limited edition showcase model for 2011 allows for the ultimate shredding machine without compromise and is expected to sell fast!
