Musikmesse 2011: Book of Orange launched
Orange Amps has unveiled a new coffee-table book charting the company's history at the Musikmesse conference in Frankfurt.
Its 200 pages are intended to give readers an insight into both the brand and the products of Orange.
Founder and chief executive officer of the company Cliff Cooper said: "The 'Orange sound' didn't just happen, it has taken years to perfect."
The book features plenty of images of famous artists making use of Orange guitar amps, with acts such as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, John Lennon, Led Zeppelin and Johnny Cash all featured.
More recent bands to be shown utilising the manufacturer's equipment include Oasis, Slipknot, Scissor Sisters and Manic Street Preachers.
Earlier this week, Orange revealed details of its new Dark Terror amp, which is aimed at heavy metal and rock guitarists.
The product, which features four stages of gain, will be available in the UK from the end of May and has a recommended retail price of £399.
