Musikmesse 2010: Gibson launch improved Les Paul Axcess
Posted on 18th Mar 2010 15:05 to category Instruments News
The critically acclaimed Gibson Axcess Les Paul has been tuned up for Musikmesse 2010, maintaining it's "heel-less" feel but being developed under the hood.
In a response to much interest and feedback from Gibson?s many fans, the company announced that the Gibson Custom Les Paul Axcess Standard now comes with a little hotter set of pickups installed; the Gibson 498T and the 496R.
These ?forces to be reckoned with? pickups yield numerous tonal opportunities and can help drive your favorite amp to ultra crunch and scorching.
The Gibson Custom Les Paul Axcess Standard guitar provides unbelievable blues tones, warm - fluid vocal tones, snappy country, and fat - sweet growls.
This is only possible because the extraordinary pickups are wired in hum cancelling series/parallel with a push/pull tone knob for each.
This provides even more tonal combinations than the first version Les Paul Axcess Standard.
A musician simply has to pull up the treble and/or rhythm tone control knobs to ?axcess? single coil tones.
They can then experiment with combining full humbucking with single coil tones.
The sound and tone is unprecedented, the musical experience like none other.
The many combinations offered by the newly tuned-up Les Paul Standard Axcess make virtually any musical genre easily accessible with a simple push, pull or flip of a switch.
