Great deals on musical instruments
One-time X Factor contestant and singer Leona Lewis is set to share her knowledge about working as a musician with London youngsters at a forthcoming event.

According to the BBC, the multiple number one scoring Bleeding Love crooner and fellow music stars Labrinth and Plan B are going to answer questions on their careers as part of the Academy event fronted by Radio 1 and 1Xtra.

The BBC event will be centred around the Picturehouse in Hackney next month and will also have an online presence for youngsters in other areas to enjoy.

It involves representatives from many other professions besides music and has the aim of providing inspiration to east London youngsters through the likes of master classes.

Youngsters will also be offered advice on making music and getting it heard.

Meanwhile, the BBC adds, a music-themed TV show staring Lewis, Labrinth and Plan B (the man behind hits such as Ill Manners and She Said), called Back To Hackney is going to hit screens soon.

A music presentation from school children - which may well involve a music instrument or two - is set to be overseen by them as part of the show.
