Music advice from piano player

Kariné Poghosyan chats about musical dreams.
Great deals on musical instruments
Kariné Poghosyan has been offering up some advice that music instrument players might find useful.

Asked in an Armenian Weekly interview to give advice on following a musical dream, the piano player highlighted an approach focusing on the personal.

She said that musicians in this situation need to look inside their hearts in order to "find the answer to their unique musical journey".

"Each musician is distinctive and therefore unique. But before they find their established place in the music business, they must first know themselves, understand and hone in on their own individual strengths," she added.

But other people won't really be able to help here, she suggested. The musician will have to work things out themselves.

She then added that when it came to success, nothing is more important than loving "the work, the actual process, and not just the exciting finish line and standing ovations."

Those who love all their practice time will see the same love emerge on the stage, she suggested. Food for thought for any music instrument player.

Video footage showing Kariné playing can be seen on her website.
