Muse to swap T for soccer?
Posted on 23 Feb 2010 16:30 to category : Music News

Muse may pull out of the T In The Park festival if England make it to the World Cup final.
The British band and Eminem were announced as headliners of the Scottish festival - which takes place between June 9 and June 11 - today (23.02.10), although bassist Chris Wolstenholme joked Muse may not appear if their country make it to the final of the International Soccer competition, scheduled for the same weekend.
Chris said: "T In The Park we've done three or four times but we've never headlined it before.
"The only problem we have is that it's World Cup final weekend. If it falls on the World Cup final and England happen to be there I might have to go and watch England play instead."
Chris added he was looking forward to seeing the 'We Made You' rapper at the festival.
He added: "I think Eminem is amazing. I haven't listened to the last album much but the album before was incredible. I've never seen him live before."
Kasabian have previously been announced as the third headliners of the event.
Other acts confirmed to appear at T In The Park include: The Prodigy, Florence and the Machine, Empire of the Sun, Black Eyed Peas, Biffy Clyro, Paolo Nutini, Wolfmother, Vampire Weekend and Jay-Z.
Meanwhile, a poster reportedly containing this year's line-up for the Reading and Leeds festivals has appeared online.
Although not officially sanctioned, it speculates the headliners will be Blink 182, Linkin Park and Green Day with Interpol, Editors and The Pigeon Detectives headlining the festival's second stage.
The line up for the Reading and Leeds festivals, which are held from August 27 to August 29, is expected to be officially announced in the next two months.
Tickets for T In The Park go on sale on Friday (26.02.10).
