One of Britain's finest rock and roll bands Motorhead have announced a seven-date tour for later this year, bringing along Saxon and Skew Siskin for the ride.

The run of concerts will kick off at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall on November 13th. The band then plays Newcastle City Hall, two nights at the O2 Academy Brixton in London, Wolverhampton Civic Hall and O2 Apollo Manchester, before finishing at the O2 Academy Glasgow on November 22nd.

Motorhead are renowned for their work ethic, even after nearly 40 years in the business and 20 studio albums, helping them cement their position in the rock and roll hall of fame.

Lemmy and co won't be the only legends of rock performing on the tour, as they are bringing along heavy metal band Saxon on the road with them, who have also been plying their trade for nearly four decades.

Completing the line-up is German hard rock band Skew Siskin, who join up with Motorhead for the second time after supporting them on their 2010 tour.

Tickets for the run of shows go on sale on May 31st. But for those who can't wait until November to see Motorhead, they are also playing Download Festival in June.ADNFCR-2133-ID-801590774-ADNFCR Posted on 28 May 2013 13:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
