Modfather 'not taking sides in Oasis split'
Posted on 24 Dec 2009 17:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Electric guitar player Paul Weller has insisted he will not take sides between Liam and Noel Gallagher following Oasis's recent split.
Speaking to NME, the veteran musician said he would happily collaborate with both men, as he thinks they are both "extremely talented".
As a result, he believes Liam and Noel are both likely to continue producing great music over the next few years.
"Creatively, I think the Oasis split is going to be a good thing," Weller commented.
The Rickenbacker guitar player added that he loves both Liam and Noel equally.
Liam Gallagher has already confirmed that he is in the process of recording a new album with his former Oasis bandmates, minus his brother.
The vocalist recently told the News of the World that the record will not represent a huge departure from the type of music he is known for.
However, he said his new record might have a "bit more energy and be fresher" than his previous music.
