Members of The Killers embark on solo projects
The Killers are taking an extended break while all of the members of the group try their hand at different side projects.
Bassist Mark Stoermer and electric guitar player Dave Keuning will be working together on new material of their own, while lead singer Brandon Flowers makes a solo record.
Ronnie Vannucci, the man behind the drum kit in The Killers, will also be busy, reports the Sun.
The drummer is teaming up with Keane's Tim Rice-Oxley to record as part of a new group called Mt. Desolation.
They will be joined in the band by Jesse Quin, a guitarist who plays with Keane when they go on tour.
Earlier this month, The Killers were handed the Vanguard Award at the Pop Music Awards.
