Matt Cardle 'wants to carry his own guitars'
X Factor winner Matt Cardle has said he is still getting used to the high-life after winning the competition.
Speaking to the Daily Star, the musician said one thing he has found difficult is having other people doing things for him, with his tour manager currently entrusted with looking after his guitars.
Cardle said he would prefer to carry the musical instruments around himself as that is what he has been used for years as he attempted to make a career from performing.
"I play guitar, I'm a gigging musician, I've been doing all that for years," he explained. "I was desperately trying to be a successful musician and had been since I was very young."
The star added that he is highly ambitious to make the most of his big break, revealing he wants to become a success in America as well as in the UK.
Cardle - whose debut single When We Collide is currently number one in the British single charts - will be the star turn in next year's X Factor live tour.
The guitar player will join in fellow contestants for a series of arena shows in cities such as Birmingham, Dublin, Balfast and Cardiff.
