Bass guitar players will soon be able to broaden their sound with new effects pedals from Markbass.
The bass ampmanufacturer is rolling out seven devices that have been designed specifically for bassists, reports Mi-Pro.
This includes the Markbass Octaver, which allows players to thicken their sound by pitching their bass guitar one or two octaves down.
Meanwhile, the Compressore valve compressor looks set to be popular as well, as it features controls such as gain, threshold, ratio and doubles up as a pro-quality DI Box.
Bass guitar players who want a more lush effect on their instrument could find the Chorus Flanger effects pedal suits them best, as the controls allow them to carefully tailor their sound to their specific requirements.
Users also have the option of downloading preset parameters from the internet through a USB connection.
This comes shortly after Markbass was honoured by Bass Gear magazine with its Outstanding New Amplifier Product Introductions Award.
