Manic Street Preachers added to iTunes Festival bill
Welsh electric guitar rockers Manic Street Preachers have been added to the line-up at this year's iTunes Festival.
The gig takes place on July 3rd and forms a part of the 31-night celebration of music, with all of the performances taking place at the Roundhouse in London.
Upon the announcement being made, the band revealed they have a soft side for the venue, which is where they shot the video for their song Design For Life.
"We love playing the Roundhouse, we've done some of our best gigs there … so we're very excited about playing our first iTunes Festival gig there," the group said in a statement.
A host of acts have already been confirmed for the series of concerts, including Paul Simon, Foo Fighters, Glasvegas and Beady Eye.
Tickets for all of the shows are free, with a ballot deciding who gets entry to which oands.
Manic Street Preachers have a number of other gigs lined up, including stops in Germany, Holland and Ireland, as well as a homecoming gig in Wales.
The last studio record they release was called Postcards from a Young Man, which featured the song (It's Not War) Just the End of Love.
