Mani quashes Stone Roses reunion rumours
Mani, the bass guitar player in the Stone Roses, has denied the band are set to reunite.
Earlier this week, the Sun reported a comeback was on the card after Ian Brown and John Squire met at the funeral of Mani's mother and put an end to their personal feud.
But Mani, who is now a member of Primal Scream, told NME the suggestion that his old band will reform is wide of the mark.
"I'm disgusted that my personal grief has been invaded and hijacked by these nonsensical stories," said the bass guitar player.
"Two old friends meeting up after 15 years to pay their respects to my mother does not constitute the reformation of the Stone Roses."
Mani has a busy summer ahead with Primal Scream, as they are lined up to tour festivals around Europe and Japan playing tracks from their seminal album Screamadelica.
The band are to play sets at Glastonbury, T in the Park, Oxegen and V Festival in the next few months.
They will also be visiting Sweden, Spain, Italy, Poland and Norway to perform live in front of their international fanbase.
