Malmstrom: Ibanez signature instrument not on the cards
Darkane's Christofer Malmstrom, a long-time endorser of Ibanez guitars, has revealed that a signature instrument bearing his name is not on the horizon right now.
"I don't know," he said when questioned about the possibility. "I don't think there are any plans for that so far, but yeah, that would be cool. I love Ibanez guitars, they fit my style perfectly."
Another musical instrument manufacturer that apparently suits Malmstrom is Behringer.
He told the publication that his band use Behringer V-amps live and stated that while the company's products are cheap, they also "sound very good".
Among those who do have instruments named after them are Steve Vai, Herman Li, Joe Satriani and Paul Gilbert.Posted on 16 Mar 2009 11:56 to category : Band / Celebrity News
