Lostprophets and Good Charlotte added to V Festival line-up
Electric guitar bands Lostprophets and Good Charlotte are among the new names added to the bill for this year's V Festival.
The announcement was made via the event's official Twitter feed, with The Wanted, Chipmunk and Noisettes all joining the bill as well.
Other acts to be confirmed for the dual-site bash were Kids in Glass Houses and Dionne Bromfield.
Much of the line-up has already been announced for V Festival, which is taking place on August 20th and 21st in Essex and Staffordshire.
Eminem and Rihanna are the main stage headliners for one of the days, while Arctic Monkeys and Plan B top the bill on the other.
Ticketholders can also look forward to performances from chart-topper Dizzee Rascal, rising star Jessie J, indie veterans Manic Street Preachers and electric guitar band Kaiser Chiefs.
Primal Scream are to perform hits from their seminal Screamadelica album during their set at the event, while Duran Duran, Razorlight, Tinie Tempah, Glasvegas and Mark Ronson will also be taking to the stage over the course of the weekend.
The organisers said many more artists have yet to be confirmed for V, with further announcements due to take place in the run-up to the event.
