Line 6 Spider Jam receives strong review
Posted on 11th Aug 2009 14:45 to category Instruments News
The Spider Jam Amplifier from Line 6 comes with over 200 artist-created presets, 12 Line 6 original amp models, 7 controllable effects, and on on-board tuner.
This amplifier also has a recording feature, allowing up to 24 minutes of CD quality recording time, and you can record your own playing either with or without the backing tracks.
Looking at these backing tracks more specifically, Music Radar were impressed by the ability to change tempo and pitch, as well as the ability to put all backing tracks on endless repeat for sustained practice.
The use of pro session players on these tracks was a factor well received with Music Radar, who noted how the backing tracks actually groove and are a pleasure to play along to.
Music Radar conclude that the Spider Jam is a killer product. It is one hell of a practice facility that, with sustained use, should improve anybody's playing.
Not only will the Spider Jam improve timing, learning what notes fit in the various keys and increased versatility, but on top of that it's a perfectly capable gigging amp.
