Line 6 Release New POD HD Multi Effects Pedals
World leading amp specialists Line 6 have debuted three multi effects pedals with brand new on board HD amp modelling.
"HD amp models deliver sonic depth, character and realism like never before," remarked Mike Murphy, Category Manager for POD and PC Products at Line 6.
"Over the last few years, we've had teams working on assembling a museum-quality collection of vintage guitar amps, restoring each amp back to its pristine state, and developing new HD amp modeling technology."
"The result is a collection of amp models that far exceeds our expectations and is the biggest news in POD since POD itself."
The 16 HD amp models are new to the Line 6 range, and will cover a huge variety of realistic amp tones, suitable for any guitarist.
Featuring both the most modern and vintage amplifier sounds around, the new range of POD floor effects are inspired by a whole host of famous amp brands.
Line 6 has even remodelled many of the old, highly regarded models from previous POD's especially for HD.
The HD POD's are the result of painstaking hard work and years of research by Line 6, with the units requiring a whole new suite of software and hardware tools.
The result has been a DSP that captures and translates every subtlety and nuance of analog circuitry into a pedal board - so any guitarist can get classic tone.
The flagship model, the HD500, has a vast array of analog ins and outs, as well as a 48 second looper and in excess of 100 M Class effects.
Drawing on the same modelling experience that has shaped their POD range, the M-class effects model specialist stomp boxes and rack gear from throughout the rock n roll ages.
On the back of the Line 6 POD HD500 is every connection a guitarist could need including quarter inch balanced and XLR unbalanced inputs, XLR mic input, stereo FX send and return and MIDI in and out.
The POD HD300 and POD H400 feature full ins and outs, a 24 second looper and over 80 and 90 M-class effects respectively.
These are set to be one of the guitar products of the year - order yours at Gear4music.com now to ensure you get access to the awesome HD tone as soon as possible.Posted on 30 Sep 2010 08:50 to category : Instruments News
