Limp Bizkit to play Download 2013?
The rap metal band confirmed in a post on their Facebook page that they would be appearing at the summer bash which is scheduled for June 14th to 16th at Donington Park.
Limp Bizkit somewhat jumped the gun as the official announcement on the next batch of bands is not expected to be released until Wednesday (January 16th) morning.
The Facebook message read: "Also – plans for an exclusive USA run are underway for April/May. Did somebody say Sonisphere and Download after that?!! And the UK? And Europe? And Russia? And Australia? And Asia? It cannot be!! Let'z get your Bizkit on!!!"
Should Fred Durst and co's announcement be correct they will appear at the metal festival alongside the likes of headliners Iron Maiden, Rammstein and Slipknot, as well as 30 Seconds To Mars, The Gaslight Anthem, Queens of the Stone Age and Bullet For My Valentine among others.
Limp Bizkit went down a storm at their previous festival performances in the UK, rocking stages since their reformation at Leeds and Reading Festival in 2010 and Sonisphere in 2011.
