Lil' Kim's Detox plans
Lil' Kim is to appear on Dr Dre's upcoming 'Detox' album.
The pint-sized rapper - who famously teamed up with fellow stars Pink, Christina Aguilera and Mya for the 'Lady Marmalade' remake track in 2001 - has revealed she will feature on the rap legend's impending record, as well as working alongside a whole host of other artists on her own forthcoming LP.
She told Hip Hop DX: "I am working on my album. I'm gonna be dropping some singles soon. I'm not concentrated on dropping an album so soon, but I will be dropping singles. I'm doing a collaboration right now in the studio with Keri Hilson, I'm so excited! This is for her album though, so you might be hearing that song really soon.
"I'm gonna be working with a lot of great people on my album. Timbaland is someone I'm really close with. I'm on Dr. Dre's 'Detox' album. I'm really excited about that one."
The 'Lighters Up' hitmaker recently admitted she is a huge fan of 'Rude Boy' singer Rihanna and hopes to work with her in the future.
She said: "Well, I'm a huge Rihanna fan, and she's a friend of mine, so I'm almost guessing, if I had to guess, I'm 90 per cent sure that a song is probably in the works."Posted on 20 Jul 2010 07:00 to category : Music News
