Liam Gallagher: New album planned by July
Posted on 28 Jan 2010 16:58 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Former Oasis star Liam Gallagher has announced that his new group will be releasing material in the next few months.
He has continued to collaborate with Oasis guitarist Gem Archer, while Andy Bell is taking on lead guitar duties having previously played bass guitar in the group.
Oasis came to an end last year with the departure of main songwriter and electric guitar player Noel Gallagher, who left following a series of rows with his brother.
Liam told XFM that much of the material to feature on the new album was written before Noel's departure.
"A lot of these songs I wrote before the band split up," he explained.
"There's a few new ones on there that are coming out now."
Gallagher and his bandmates will be heading to the studio in April to put down three songs, reports NME.
Last month, Liam told the News of the World that the working title of the new group will be Oasis 2.0.
